NEXT UP AT LONESTAR SPEEDWAY: SPRINT CAR BANDITS CHAMPIONSHIP NIGHT SET - SAT. SEPT. 30, 7PM!
Kilgore, TX (09/10/17) by DarinShort.com. The long-awaited return of the NCRA Sprint Car Bandits series to LoneStar Speedway will take place on Saturday, September 30th. Joining the 360 C.I. fuel injected winged Sprint Cars will be the big LoneStar Modifieds, Factory Stocks, Limited Modifieds & FWD 4-Cylinders...all competing for added purse money.
Fans can expect a great field of top Sprint Car teams from throughout the region, with drivers such as: Justin Melton, Zane Lawrence, Chad Wilson, Claud Estes III, Michael Lang, Dustin Gates, Colby Estes, Michelle Melton, Gary Floyd, DJ Estes, Chance McCrary, Tucker Doughty, Junior Jenkins, Cody Stacy, Chase Parson, Brad Queen, Dalton Stevens, Bryan Debrick, Steve McMackin, Kyle Jones, Chad Koch, Johnny Miller and Brandon Long. A host of other regional teams can be expected as well. Through the first six SCB events of the 2017 season, a total of 65 sprint car teams have competed.
You and your family will be able to take in this massive event for just $17 adult (ages 12-64) general admission! Ages 6-11 are just $5, while Seniors/Military can take it all in for $15. All pit passes for all ages are $35.
LoneStar Speedway is located at 3131 FM 1252 Kilgore, TX 75662, Track Phone on race day is: (903)-986-9731. Specifically, if you are on I-20 (either direction) take Exit 583 and head north to the 4-way stop light (about 1/2 mile). Go east (right) about 1 mile and you will see the track entrance on the south (right) side of the road. The LoneStar Speedway racing divisions will all be racing for added purse money: Modifieds will be racing for $1,200 to win, the Limited Modified winner will take home $700, and the first Factory Stock to reach the checkers will receive $500. The FWD 4-Cylinders will round out the 5-division racing card, racing for $200 to win. Great payback is spread out throughout the field, and the complete breakdown is located here for all divisions:
SPRINT CAR BANDITS A-FEATURE PAYBACK (25 Laps): $2,000 - $1,000 - 600 - 500 - 400 - 390 - 380 - 370 - 360 - 350 (10th) - 340 - 330 - 320 - 310 - 300...to 20th. No outside food/drink allowed through ticket gate. Great food and drinks available at family-affordable pricing. Adult beverages for sale next to main concession stand.
The Pit Area on September 30th will open by 4pm (teams can arrive much earlier, if desired, but we'll clear out pits just prior to opening), Grandstands open at 5pm, Draw Cutoff 6:15pm, Pit Meeting 6:30pm, then Track Packing/Hot Laps...with racing to follow immediately. Races should fire off by 7:15-7:30pm. The sun sets over LoneStar at 7:05pm on Saturday, September 30th, which will be just perfect to maintain optimum racing surface conditions.
Grandstand admission: Ages 5 and under are free (with adult admission), Ages 6-11 are just $5, and Ages 12-64 are $17. Seniors/Military $15. You can upgrade any grandstand admission ticket to the reserved section (bucket seats) for $5/ticket upon your entrance to the reserved section. All Pit Passes all ages are $35.
