Off Road Speedway

A note from the Promoter

We are excited here at the OffRoad Speedway to get the 2021 season going and I have a tentative schedule to unveil.
Opening in April has always been a weather crapshoot, and we planning on starting with April 3rd as practice night. April 10 is designated as a practice or race night depending on how things shake out.
We have Super Late Models and the 360 Sprints on the 2021 schedule for 2 race nights apiece. The Tri-State Late Models will be here to compete with the local Late Models in a draw/redraw format. Mini Sprints are on the schedule for 3 nights and the MidWest Classic Stock Cars for 4 nights.
The OffRoad Speedway strives to be family friendly and this year will be no different. The cost of admission will be $15 for regular race nights and the price for those 15 y/o and under is FREE! The kids need to be accompanied by a Parent or Guardian. Trophies are back for the Feature winners. And along with that, kids will be drawn to be Trophy "Princes" and "Princesses" and be awarded their own Feature Trophy. We will still do the "podium" picture with the top 3 along with the Feature winner and kids. Also planned are Kids bike races, Race Car rides, nickel and quarter toss, Bike giveaway, Ice Cream and we are throwing in Adult wheelbarrow races for the "older" kids.
Of special note is the plan for the annual Independence Day races. Due to the calendar we will be running Friday, July 9th. Fireworks is being planned on the 9th also. This will be an IMCA points- regular season race as part of the Don Weyhrich Classic weekend. July 10th will be a Draw/ Redraw format for the 4 regular classes.
Our annual Memorial races will be the Lynn Langenberg and the Bob Haase Memorials. The Lynn Langenberg will showcase the 360 Sprints and The Bob Haase will once again be a 2 night show with the Super Late Models on Saturday.
There will be changes made to the 2021 General rules and the 2021 IMCA class (Late Model, Hobby Stock, Sport Mod and Stock Car) rules will be updated on the website. When Brian gets that done we will point out the changes so everyone is aware.
The schedule is tentative and could change.
Wishing that all is safe and healthy and hope to see everyone in April, Jerry Pospisil
