Dustin Strand clinches the 2024 Points Championship at the Devils Lake Speedway.

Due to scheduling conflicts. The usual season points championship for Wissota Late Models had to be moved up in Devils Lake Schedule for the year. Dustin Strand had a 19 point lead over Cole Schill going into Saturday nights race. With Brody Troftgruben not far behind in 3rd place. The feature race went Green, White, Checkered. With position changes and some power moves throughout the field. Dustin Strand made quick work of his starting position and began his quest for Victory Lane. Jason Strand quickly maneuvered his way to the 2nd place position and tried to run Dustin Strand down. Cole Babcock charged his way to the 3rd place position. About half way through the Feature Brody Troftgruben came alive passing Cole Schill and putting a power move on Cole Babcock to take the 3rd place position. Troftgruben starting reeling in Jason Strand but just ran out of laps. Dustin Strand would take the checkered flag with Jason Strand finishing 2nd and Brody Troftgruben rounding out the podium in 3rd place. Cole Schill would finish 4th and Cole Babcock would come home 5th.

The Hometrack Rules Purestock race was a fun feature to watch with a tight close battle throughout the race. Steven Richards and Austin Harris gave Joe Armstrong a run for his money. Austin Harris lead a good portion of the feature. With Richards and Armstrong hot on his tail. At one point they were 3 wide challenging for the lead. Richards would eventually sneak pass Armstrong and Harris to capture another checkered flag of the 2024 season. Armstrong would inch by Harris to finish 2nd. Harris would round out the podium in 3rd place. Kyle Charette would finish 4th and Liam Schow finished 5th.

The Wissota Street Stocks had another barn burner of a race. Greg Jose was on cruise control with an early lead. But with 9 to go a caution came out. Restacking the field putting Hess right behind Jose. With Hess being dominant most of the season in Devils Lake. Jose had his hands full keeping Hess at bay. Hess and Jose had a stiff battle running side by side. Hess made a last lap pass to secure another trip to Victory lane. Jose would finish 2nd and Austin Dueke finishing in the 3rd place positions. Shane Swenson would finish 4th and Drew Peterson would finish 5th.

The battles were tight throughout the field in the Wissota Midwest Mods on Saturday night. Often times going 4 wide in and out of the corners. Ryne Uhrich took an early lead gettin passed the young driver Brody Kraft to take the lead and held off a tough field of cars to take home his 2nd Feature win of the 2024 season. In the closing laps Matt Schow and Reise Stenberg put every move in the book on Uhrich trying to get by him. But Uhrich prevailed. Reise Stenberg would finish 2nd and Matt Schow would settle for 3rd place. Austin Hunter would finish 4th and Bailey Cousins would finish 5th.
