2021 Tailgate Renewal is OPEN - Deadline April 1st
Wake the Lake 5/OPC Nationals 2021 - Tailgate Renewals
Springfield, OH - Champions Park Lake is excited to host the 2021 APBA Outboard Performance Craft National Championships Aug 6-8, 2021 during Wake the Lake 5. As of March 1st we will begin renewals for tailgate spots for 2020 tailgate holders. After April 1st tailgating will be opened up to our waiting list and new customers.
MUST RESERVE SPOT BY APRIL 1ST.
At this time we will need to operate exactly like 2020 with our tailgate spots. Each spot will require a 6’ dead zone in between and will be limited to 10 people per spot while abiding by Covid-19 social distancing and mask rules.
Tailgating Spots will once again include a 18' wide by 30' depth grass area along the south-side of the lake. There will be a snow fence along the edge of the lake for safety purposes. Each spot will be numbered, starting from the race Starting Area and then heading west from there.
Price is $100 per spot and DOES NOT INCLUDE A GENERAL ADMISSION PASS IN 2021.
General Admission tickets for tailgaters and their guests will be available again through our one day General Admission ticket promotion good for either Sat or Sun for $10 per day pass. The $10 ticket promotion will EXPIRE July 1. Online ticket and gate prices will be $15 per day or $25 for weekend.
No overnight tailgating and no RV parking is allowed in the Tailgate area; car and trucks only are permitted. Tailgaters are allowed to bring chairs, food, grills, coolers, beverages, games, and pop-up tents.
We will be allowing golf carts in the tailgate area but they must have a pass. Golf Cart Passes are $50 per golf cart.
