Tyre takes over Champ/305 sprint points lead
by John Rittenoure - TULSA, Okla. (August 11, 2021) - Josh Tyre has moved into the champ/305 sprint points lead after last week.
Tyre, who is still looking for his first Tulsa victory, has moved into the top spot after four weeks of consistent finishes. Frank Taft sits in second with early season points leader Jimmy Forrester in third.
Forrester, Kyle Clark, Austin Shores and Lane Goodman each have one feature win this season.
Brandon Fogle leads the USRA B-mods with three feature victories while Dalton Garrison leads the Factory Stock division with five wins.
USRA B-Mods, Factory Stocks and Dwarf Cars will join the sprints Friday. It will be the second night of competition for the Dwarfs. Rob McQuary won in the season opener.
