Costume Contests, Racer Scuffles PLUS a Racer passes 10 Competitors!

“The Thriller” proved to be a great name as the night was full of edge of your seat action!
From the ghouls and goblins running around in their costume, to drivers coming to blows over some on-track action after the Feature, to a run from 4th to First in USRA Stock Cars!

Osage Casino & Hotel Tulsa Speedway hosted the United States Racing Association Stock Cars on Saturday night Oct 26th as part of The Thriller - a race, in its third year, on the weekend before Halloween.

Jeff Thompson, Race Director of Tulsa Speedway, invited racers to bring candy for the kids that dressed up for the night’s race. During Intermission, the kids had a blast accepting candy and treats from racers and crew! “We had a great time seeing kids and racers having such a great experience during trick or treating. Next year we look forward to more costumes and another great night of fun!”

The racing was filled with Thrills as well!
USRA Stock Cars were the featured cars of the event, with Modifieds, B-Mods, Factory Stocks and Tuners giving the fans incredible races as well. With more than 20 Stock Cars on site, the stage was set for serious racing during the Heat Races.

USRA Stock Cars
Heat 1 was won by Jeff Tennant (Car # 27), making a run from a starting position of 4th! He was followed by Donnie Wright (Car # 4U) in second and Clay Holt (Car # 3) rounding out the podium, ahead of three other racers.
Heat 2 was won by Garrett Vannoster (Car # 5V), coming from a 3rd place starting position! He was followed by Mark Norwood (Car # 75N) in Second and Kevin Wasserman (Car # 22K) in Third, ahead of two other racers.
Heat 3 was won Mike Keever (Car # 2k, making the most dramatic run in the Heat Races with a starting position of 6th! Shannon Skiggs (Car # 23) took Second, ahead of Nick Atherton (Car # 87) in Third, ahead of three other racers.

The Feature was an intense race with racers pushing their racecars to the limit! Standout racers Grant Reeves moved from 11th to Second, Bryan McDade moved through the field from 13th to 6th and Ronnie Drake making a hard charge from 18th to 8th!!
Local Racer Kevin Wasserman won the Feature, moving from 4th to First.

The Thriller event will return in 2025 with more action on and off track!

Osage Casino & Hotel Tulsa Speedway has one last event for 2024! Thursday Nov 14, we welcome back the ASCS Sprint Cars to finish up a $6,000 to Win event that kicks off their final weekend of racing in 2024!

In addition to the ASCS Sprints, This show will include USRA B-Mods, Factory Stocks and Tuner class. Thursday event will showcase Vetbox Containers Factory Stock, USRA B-Mods USRA Tuner cars along with the ASCS Sprints. We will also have a Kids Play Area so race fans can enjoy the on track action while the kids have the option to play.

Parking passes can be purchased at the gate on the day of the event. Thursday night, pit gates open at 4:00 PM with hot laps at 7:00 PM and racing action starting at 7:30 PM.

Don't miss out on this exciting event at Tulsa Speedway, where fans can enjoy high-speed racing and a unique experience.
