55TH ANNIVERSARY CHEVY SHOW SHINE & DRAGS / WM. & JUANITA CATHELL MEMORIAL

It's coming in just two weeks race fans! The 55th Anniversary of the U.S. 13 Dragway and the Chevy Show, Shine & Drag weekend celebration takes place Saturday & Sunday August 25 & 26th. In addition to the anniversary and chevy show, we honor the founders of the Dragway, William and Juanita Cathell, as it was their vision that started it all in Delaware.
We will have two days of bracket racing beginning Saturday, August 25.IHRA and SBRA points will be up for grabs both days, (SBRA points race has been added to Sunday's event)
Sunday, the Mason Dixon Chevy Club will host their always popular Car show. The best looking array of Chevrolets will be on the grounds for car enthusiasts to admire.
Also on Sunday, for those of you who attended the Brawl For It All. In the first round of eliminations, Mark Benston Jr. driving the NorthStar Motorsports, Buck Jarvis owned "Show Mod" took out one of the most feared street racers in the country, Barefoot Ronnie Pace! Benston, bus gapped Pace, sending him home early. Pace has landed a new ride with local owners DMB Motorsports out of East New Market, MD, in their "Quick Silver 410" 700 cubic inch, nitrous powered, 68 Camaro. Pace has competed in all of the Street Outlaws No Prep Kings season two series races so far this year.
These two will rematch on Sunday, August 26th, during the Chevy Show, Shine and Drags. Can "The Kid" knock off the veteran again, or will Barefoot redeem himself. Be here Sunday to see these two battle it out for bragging rights!
They will also be testing for the upcoming 4-ON-4 NO Prep War on Wednesday night August 29th, featuring, the "Street Beast" better known as DOC on the hit series Street Outlaws! Yes, the Street Outlaws return to Delaware, for a 4-ON-4 ShootOut!
Joining DOC of the 405, will be "Barefoot" Ronnie Pace, Barry Nicholson in his Street Outlaws No Prep Kings, Camaro, "The God Father" and Shawn Wilholt in "The Mistress." For the 302NATION Outlaws, Mark Benston Jr. leads the team with, Steve Drummond, Wayne Patton and Dale Collins Jr. all ready to take the TV Stars down!

Saturday August 25th
Gates Open 10 am
Time Trial 11 am
Eliminations follow time run session. (1 time run on Saturday)
Admission Saturday will be the 2 day pass of $35
(if you do not plan to return for Sunday's event, you will have 15 min. after the completion of the event to return to the front gate. There you will return your wristband and Sunday's admission)
Sunday August 26th,

Time Trial 10 am
Car Show judging begins 9:30 am
Car Show Awards approx. 1 pm
