Inaugural Coastal Clash Presented by Accutrench This Weekend

U. S. 13 Dragway will host the Inaugural Pep Boys Speed Shop & Off Road Coastal Clash presented by Accutrench September 17th - 19th, 2021. FRBR Promotions and U. S. 13 Dragway have a list of events from big money races each day to pit vehicle races and more. A racer appreciation dinner in memory of Wayne Cox will also be held Saturday at 6pm. Landstone Designs will host a pit vehicle race following Saturdays main event.

Fri/Sat/Sun in the KKC Performance Top Bulb class there will be $10,000 to win, $2,000 to runner up with $1,000 for semi-finals. There is $100 round money starting with 4th round loser. 

Weekend entry: $400

Single day entry: $150

Re-entry (1st round only): $100

Fri/Sat/Sun in the East Coast Chassis Performance No Box class will have $5,000 to the winner, $1,000 to the runner up and $500 for a semi-final finish. There is $50 round money starting with 4th round loser.

Weekend entry: $260

Single day entry: $100

Re-entry (1st round only): $60

Fri/Sat/Sun in the Elzey's Septic Service Jr. Dragster class will have $1,000 to the winner, $300 to the runner up and $120 for a semi-final finish. There will be $30 round money starting with 4th round loser.

Friday night the Competitive Suspension Showdown Shootouts will take place.

*Shootout rules: No doubles in the same class, no buybacks, pay will be in the base of the tower. If you win 3rd round you will win your money back!

Thursday:

• Parking 5 pm-10 pm

Friday:

• Gates open 8 am
• Time trials 9 am
• Run order: No box, Jr's, Top Doorcar, Top Dragsters
• Eliminations will follow time run
• Shootouts following the main event

Saturday:

• Gates open 8am
• New entry time trial 9 am - (new combination only)
• Eliminations following time run
• Racer Dinner 6 pm
• Pit vehicle race after main event

Sunday:

• Gates open 8 am
• New Entry time trial 9am - (new combination only)
• Eliminations following time run

CREW - $15 daily, Kids 12 & Under FREE!

RULES:

All run 1/8th mile, Double entries permitted, No car can run more than 2x per round, Driver may not switch vehicles once eliminations begins, 1st round bye given to previous event winner or best r/t of final time run, Subsequent bye runs to best winning r/t, ties broken by best package. If even cars, bye car has lane choice, Byes carry over if unused, An entry may not earn 2nd bye run unless all remaining entries have also had one. Buybacks run off following round one, winners advancing to round 2, Once left/right pairings are exhausted remaining drivers will be paired front to back, lane choice determined by high card. All arrivals at this point must go to the end of single file line, Pro ladder at 8 or less cars, with new ladder created each round, If event is ended due to weather, remaining entries split the payout, random inspections may be done at any time, Slew rate controls are prohibited and grounds for immediate disqualification with no refund being provided along with forfeiture of any earnings. Dial in may not change past staging lanes line and must be displayed to opponent. BREAK: Prior to point pairing is pulled to side with affected driver given until end of round to fix. After that point, 30 seconds. All drivers are expected to stage in a timely manner. 

Top Bulb: CrossTalk used, no deep staging. Door cars and Dragsters run separate for 5 rounds. If single file, door cars run door cars (see Lane Choice). The last door car in line will run vs. a dragster. ( only 1 bye per round) No Throttle stops. 

No Box: Deep Staging is honored. Transbrake and 2-steps permitted. Delay boxes must be removed. Door cars, left hand steer roadsters and bikes permitted. Air/electric shifters permitted. 

Jr. Dragsters: Run as age groups: 6-9, 10-12, 13-17 until 1 entry remains in group, then proceed to next group.
