PA Posse Takes the Shore by Storm at US 13 June 15-16

The rescheduled June 15-16 WDRA Bracket race at US 13 was taken by storm with the PA Posse, Mike Greiner, Manheim, PA, taking the wins in Beach Custom Services Mod ET Saturday. Kevin Mendenhall, Parkesburg, PA, runnered-up with Greiner's putting up a better reaction .036 to Mendenhall's .048. Sunday, PA's Joe Dedrick, Boyertown, PA, took the win over local Michael Jefferson. Jefferson had the better reaction by .001; however, couldn't run his dial of 6.06 giving Dedrick the victory.
Noland Company TOP ET Saturday winner, Alex Bradford, Newark, MD, left the starting line with the advantage over Brandon Layfield, Pittsville, MD. Bradford put down a .006 reaction to Layfield's .051 to win the big check. Sunday, long time racer, Bill Groton of Seaford, DE, took the win over Billy Thomas. Both drivers put down a good reaction time, .007 vs .008, but Groton's 6.591 run on 6.59 dial didn't leave Thomas any breathing room to finish the job.
Tire King Sportsman Saturday winner Travis Laroque took the win over Bill Bradford; Sunday winner Sara Davis put down a .019 reaction over Josh Davis to take the win.
OBHF Pro Bike Saturday winner was our WDRA Champion for 2023, James Farmer took the win over Jimmie Miller. Sunday, Ash Hayward took the win over Sam Sanders with Sanders running out 8.850 on 8.87 dial.
Millsboro, DE native Cooper Lewis got his first Carquest Jr. Dragster win over Marquise Blake on Saturday. Sunday, the PA Posse, Shane Conner, Elkton, MD took the win over local Raegan Ketterman when Conner put down a .028 reaction to take the win.
This weekend will be the Hillbilly Bracket Bash, Friday night 64 Car TOP Shootout and MOD Shootout and Jr Gamblers Race; Saturday and Sunday, TOP $7500 to win; MOD $3500 to win. Gates open Friday night at 5 pm, Saturday and Sunday 9 am.
