Alec Griffis is a third generation circle track racer. His grandfather, Johnny Griffis started racing asphalt street stocks at Twin Cities Speedway in Odessa, TX in the early 80's. His father, John Griffis started racing dirt in the i-stock division in 2000 and continued to race several other classes over the years. Alec started his driving career in 2019 in Lubbock, TX in the street stock class at West Texas Raceway. During his rookie year he finished 2nd in rookie points and 8th in overall points. Alec plans to work his way into a dirt modified when the time is right.
