Scott Thiel Motorsports 2014 Racing Plans!
2014 brings exciting new ventures for the #64 Scott Thiel Motorsports Sprint Car team based out of Sheboygan, Wisconsin with young gun Scotty Thiel as the driver. In the past six seasons that the team has been racing sprint cars, they have always been in the 360 ranks racing with the MSA and running ASCS affiliated series. The team has had great success in the past six years with 16 A-main wins and winning the $5,000 to win Open Wheel Nationals in 2013.
Over 50 shows are on tap for the Scott Thiel Motorsports team for 2014. They will be starting out running some 360 shows in the Midwest with the Sprint Invader series, followed by competing full time with the 410 IRA Sprint Car Series for the Rookie of the Year title and Championship title. When off of the IRA tour, they will be competing at 4 different World of Outlaw events, multiple 410 Midwest Open Wheel Association shows, along with several 360 events including the Upper Midwest Sprint Car Series, NRA Sprints and the ASCS regional and national series.
The team has been preparing all winter long for these exciting plans. Final touches are currently being made to the cars and equipment. The new look for the #64 car will unveil Saturday April 19th at the Oshkosh Speedzone in Oshkosh, Wisconsin.
