Driver Information
Born and raised in Antioch, Ca. In my early years, I used to frequent the Antioch Speedway to watch my Uncle race the street stock division. My father used to crew chief for a street stock in the middle to late 80s. Always had a passion for racing, drove a hew races nights on pavement and dirt back in the early 2000s in a modified. Took time off to focus on work and school.
Was introduced to Dwarf car racing one fateful night while working a security post, ran into a now great friend Berto Monroy (7xl). We got to talking about the cars and I was hooked! Spent the 2019 season pitting for him, learning the ins and outs. At the end of the season, while making some changes to a chassis, Berto looked at me, and told me "this chassis is yours." This was the point of no return for me.
After attempting to get the chassis prepped for the 2020 season, I realized there was not enough time, but the itch was still there, so I put the chassis on hold, purchased a race ready car, and made my debut in June of 2019. I participated in 5 race nights, learned a lot about these cars, and how different they were. got my spins out and started to become comfortable.
2021 season will be a pull to make a full season of racing. with the "Berto Chassis" I set aside making its debut.
This year, pitting for me will still be my little brother Matthew Bauer, my fiancé Gabrielle, and a new addition to the Bauer racing team, my daughter McKenzie.
Most Memorable Moment
First race in a dwarf car, was a fun and exciting night. Was also the night I popped the question to my long time girlfriend who eventually said yes in the infield of Antioch Speedway.
