Cooper Gaul is 16 years old and dedicated to putting the hard work in to win. Cooper has been racing in INEX US Legend Cars for about two years. Cooper is teamed with 77 Speed Shop and races primarily in Georgia along with multiple National events throughout the year.
Cooper had a very successful 2023 season winning the Atlanta Motor Speedway Thursday Thunder summer 2023 Young Lions Championship and winning the Georgia State Points Championship in the Young Lions division. Cooper ran 52 races during the 2023 season including 45 top 5 finishes, 39 podium finishes, and 10 wins.
In 2024, Cooper moved up to the Semi Pro division and has been working hard, gaining experience with each race. 2024 Winter Nationals was a great experience with a 3rd place finish and overall 7th in points out of over 40 drivers. Nashville Spring Series Cooper qualified well, finishing 5th in race 1, and 6th in both race 2 and 3. Ending the week 5th in points, tied for 4th out of 30 drivers.
Beyond racing, Cooper is a sophomore in high school, maintaining over a 4.0 weighted GPA while taking AP College levelcourses and working toward certifications in Engineering and Social Media Marketing. Cooper is also a very proud member of a family of firefighters, taking every opportunity to advocate for first responder causes and charities.
