GLSS-Great Lakes Super Sprints
DUSSEL WINS RON KAHLE JR MEMORIAL AT LIMALAND
Elida, OH - Honoring local sprint car supporter and friend of racing, Ron Kahle Jr tonight at Limaland, the Great Lakes Super Sprints presented by Engine Pro & ARP had 24 cars on hand. Nate Dussel (Bradner, OH) led all 25 laps as he sliced and diced through lapped traffic for the victory.
Catching the back of the field in lap 5, Dussel weaved thru the field with Jared Horstman (Cloverdale, OH), Max Stambaugh (Elida, Oh), Dan McCarron ( Britton, MI) and Harli White (Lindsay, OK) in hot pursuit. Six minutes and 25 seconds of standng on the pedal and up on the wheel, all 20 drivers put on a show as they drove caution free from the drop of the green flag to the the drop of the checkered flag.
Tonights Ti22 Performance Fast Qualifier was Harli White, putting in a lap time of 11.73 seconds. Horstman was 2nd quick with a 11.80 second lap and Chase Dunham (Leipsic, OH) rounded out the podium with a 11.84 second lap.
Nate Dussel wins the Engler Machine & Tool Heat 1, while Jared Horstman wins the Howard Johnson's by Wyndham Heat 2 and Dan McCarron takes home the win in the Beacon & Bridge Markets Heat 3.
Gregg Dalman (Bellevue, MI) was tongihts Hoosier Racing Tires Hard Charger, moving up from 18th to 12th in a very tough field.
Great Lakes Super Sprints presented by Engine Pro and ARP will be back in action Saturday, June 10th down the road at Waynesfield Raceway Park.
