GLSS-Great Lakes Super Sprints
NATE DUSSEL WINS 3RD ANNUAL "MR. EXCITEMENT" TIM ALLISON TRIBUTE RACE
Elida, OH - Honoring sprint car legend Tim Allison tonight at Limaland Motorsports Park, the Great Lakes Super Sprints presented by Engine Pro & ARP had 20 cars on hand. Nate Dussel (Bradner, OH) led almost all 25 laps as he sliced and diced through lapped traffic for the victory.
Harli White (Lindsay, OK) led the first couple laps as Dussel was on her tail and was finally able to charge up and take her place. Dussel was able to hold his lead for the rest of the race and take home the Tim Allison 3rd Annual Memorial Race.
All 20 drivers put on a show as they drove caution free from the drop of the green flag to the the drop of the checkered flag.
Tonight's Ti22 Performance Fast Qualifier was Harli White, putting in a lap time of 11.988 seconds.Max Stambaugh (Elida, OH) was second quick with a 12.056 second lap and Mike Keegan (Fremont, OH) rounded out the podium with a 12.201 second lap.
Cody Fendley (Placerville, CA) wins the Engler Machine & Tool Heat 1, while Dussel wins the Perfit Heat 2 and Devon Dobie (Wapakoneta, OH) takes home the win in the Beacon & Bridge Markets Heat 3.
Jac Nickles (Harrod, OH) was tonight's Hoosier Racing Tires Hard Charger, moving up from 19th to 12th in a very tough field.
Great Lakes Super Sprints presented by Engine Pro and ARP will be back in action Friday, June 30th at I-96 Speedway and NRA will be back at Limaland Motorsports Park on June 30th!
