LaRose doubles up at Doe Run

Zander LaRose scored two feature victories at Doe Run Raceway on Friday and Saturday, giving the young RS12 Motorsports driver four in a row at the 1/6-mile track in Doe Run, Missouri.

On Friday, “Z-Man” drove his Spartan Transportation No. 1Z machine to a heat race win in the LO206 Restricted Box Stock class after starting fourth. He went on to win the 10-lap feature from the pole, leading every circuit. He took the checkered flag 2.840 seconds in front of Maverick Beard, while Bostynn Coleman, Karter Bates and Alianna Evans rounded out the top five.

On Saturday, LaRose again won his LO206 Restricted Box Stock heat race, then started third in the 10-lap A-Main. He took the lead on Lap 3 and went on to score the victory by an impressive 6.355 seconds over Zane Riley. Evans rounded out the podium, with Leo Touchette finishing fourth and Coleman coming home fifth.

Also on Friday, RS12 driver Jaxton Wiggs grabbed the win in the 20-lap Non-Winged Outlaw Micros class.
