LaRose doubles up at Doe Run and Wayne County
Zander LaRose put RS12 Motorsports in victory lane twice over the weekend with wins at separate tracks on consecutive nights.
First up, LaRose competed in the L0206 Restricted Box Stock class at Doe Run (Missouri) Raceway on Friday evening. He claimed the win in his heat race on the 1/6-mile oval and led every lap of the A-Main after starting on the pole. He took the checkered flag 2.755 seconds in front of Karter Bates in the 10-lap race, while Alianna Evans, Dawson Miner and Maverick Beard rounded out the top five.
On Saturday, LaRose took to Wayne County Speedway in Wayne City, Illinois, for the first time to compete in the Junior Sprint ranks. He won his heat on the 1/5-mile oval and went on to claim victory in the 15-lap A-Main. LaRose scored his first Junior Sprint win after telling his mother he would do so for her birthday that day.
