Walt Clough was born and raised in Blackshear, GA. Walt is a former first responder with experience in law enforcement and full time firefighting.

In 2021 Walt won a Lazer Chassis through a local raffle. Walt currently races in the 602 division with his 2018 Lazer Late Model.

Walt owns Lake House Nutrition in Greensboro, GA with his wife Elif. Walt has a daughter named Scarlett who loves coming to the track.

Walt co-owns Clough Brothers Racing with his younger brother and USMC machine gunner J. Wyatt Clough.
