Patrick started late in the full size racing scene at the fresh age of 34. Before that, he did get his feet wet in the R/C racing world back in 2002-2004. He won over 30 A-mains in those 3 years in the OKC area. He gave up on racing due to moving for the Air Force, until he moved to New Jersey. There he started off in the Crate Modified division at New Egypt Speedway in 2014. He raced there until 2016, at which he moved out to SLC and started racing asphalt modified at Rocky Mountain Raceway, until the track closed in 2019.
Now he's currently racing up at Magic Valley for their local points series in the Div-I Modifieds. He finished 3rd in points his first points season there.
