Driver Information

Hey Yall, I'm Chad from Longview, Tx driving the "Rooster" 49 Sportster. I started my racing career earlier in the 2022 racing season. I started out in Factory Stock but changed to Sportster when my step dad said they needed racers for the class. I have been married 9 years to my High School Sweetheart and together we have a 7 year old little girl. My race team consists of my step dad Jeff Zimmermann and "Uncle" Chris Weatherford. We all race together in the Sportster class at Boothill. I'm a laid back guy who has loved dirt track racing since I was little and am finally doing it. I may have started late in my career but I'm learning it quick and have become one to watch, at least that's what everyone says, so if you find yourself at Boothill, look at out for the red "Rooster" car!

My most memorable moment to me is my very first race at Boothill. In turn 2, I was bumped and spun out, hitting the dirt in the infield. I ended up snapping my axle, got a new one from a fellow racer and was back out to the feature in time to finish 4th.
