Jason Feger Scores 10th Win of the Season at Farmer City
After a mid-summer break, reigning series champion Jason Feger returned to action with the MARS Championship Series over the weekend and wasted no time getting back to victory lane, claiming the 15th annual Jr. Kimler Memorial at Farmer City Raceway.
The win marked Feger’s 10th victory of the 2025 season and the 30th of his career with the series.
"I love Farmer City here, you know, I grew up here and it's an awesome place and special to me and my family and cool to win the Jr. Kilmer Memorial again," Feger said. "My grandma being inducted into the fan's Hall of Fame night definitely my biggest fan, and so that's really special and I know it means a lot to her."
With 28 DIRTcar Late Models packing the quarter-mile oval, Feger set the second-fastest time in his qualifying group before winning his heat race. In the 40-lap feature, he tracked down early leader Justin Duty by lap five and led the rest of the way to collect the $5,000 payday.
The following night at Federated Auto Parts Raceway at I-55 in Pevely, Missouri, Feger again kicked off the program with a heat race win. Starting from the third row for the $5,000-to-win feature, he advanced three positions to notch a third-place finish, joining race winner Ryan Unzicker and Michael Leach on the podium.
Sunday’s scheduled stop at Quincy Raceway was postponed to September 14 due to weather.
With the successful weekend, Feger has reclaimed the top spot in the MARS Championship Series point standings.
