Feger visits Cedar Lake for USA Nationals

The World of Outlaws Real American Beer Late Model Series brought Jason Feger and 52 other competitors north to Wisconsin’s Cedar Lake Speedway for the 38th annual USA Nationals, which opened Thursday.

Feger’s weekend started on a sour note when an opening-lap tangle in his B-Main ended his Thursday night early.

Bouncing back on Friday, the Bloomington, Illinois, driver locked into Saturday’s finale with a third-place finish in his heat race and later finished fifth in the F.A.N.S. Fund Dash, which carried a $2,500 top prize.

Rolling off 13th in Saturday’s $100,000-to-win USA Nationals, Feger slipped one position over the course of the 100-lapper to finish 14th.
