Yes, that’s really his name. Tim Richmond is of no relation to the late NASCAR Cup Series driver from the 1980s, beyond attempting to carve out a career path as a stock car racer, as well. Richmond made waves when he initially transitioned from road racing to the ARCA Menards Series in 2019 – mostly for making those perusing entry lists do a double-take upon seeing his name – but he quickly gained respect for posting solid results for Wayne Peterson’s small team.
