Driver Information

I was born October 29th 1988 in Libertyville,IL. Growing up I had many interest including semi trucks, motorcycles, cars of all kinds: muscle cars, race cars, sports cars all of which lead my parents Dale & Norma Hayes to take me to car shows, monster truck shows, motocross, racing both on dirt and asphalt, truck shows as well as my dad taking me on many trips when he dove a semi for a living. Through my later years thinking about what I wanted to do in life I thought heavy on being a mechanic, a truck driver or going to the military. When I graduated from McCutcheon High School in 2007 I ultimately chose to go Lincoln College of Technology to become a diesel mechanic, having my first child in 2008 the same time I graduated I kept to the grind in local shops doing work mostly for farmers on their truck so they was always ready for planting or harvest seasons, working in shops until 2010 I decided to follow another dream and become a truck driver which I continue to do today. Through all of that I never lost the love for anything with a engine, fast cars, loud exhaust and found I had a need for speed. In the late 2010s my brother decided to start racing in the hornet class and his biggest sponsor was my dad and Dirty Dogs Garage, Through the years of helping and watching as the team grew from one car to 8 I pushed me to want to build a car and race myself. Starting out I drove my dad's car a couple times a year and then built my own car late last year(2024) I built a 2003 chevy cavalier hornet and had a blast, over the off season between 2024 and 2025 I built a fresh engine, swapped from automatic transmission to manual and spent alot of time researching to figure out different set ups to make me faster on track. At this point I am excited to see what the 2025 brings and continuing to put on a show for the fans. That being said fans are a big reason for me to do what I do, the kids pointing at the car on an open trailer, wanting pictures and autographs reminds me of the kid I use to be. So if you see me please feel free to stop and talk, take pictures, get autographs, sit in the car. See yall at the track!
