Disappointing weekend
Could have been better, could have been worse.
That's the feeling for the MRR team. Saturday over at Hartfords I90 Speedway we started off by drawing the highest number in the bucket, witch actually had us in a pretty decent heat race with a decent chance of gaining some passing points and earning a shot at the Redraw. We started last and run up to fourth in the heat and it was just one spot short I guess. Sounds like the officials were having a difficult time getting the line ups right, I don't think it really made a big difference for me and where we were but its too bad the track cannot take advantage of the large car count and really a full grandstands. If all the race tracks were as poorly run as that place, we wouldn't have any where to race!
Sunday was a new day and a fresh start to the season at Husets Speedway. Again the night started off with drawing the highest pill in the bucket and tagged the tail of the first heat and run up to third. That lined us up for a 7th starting position for the main event, from there I had a pretty good car, it was rolling around there pretty good. I made two mistakes and it cost me a couple positions at the finish. It was nice to get a couple nights in and get the rust knocked off, we need to just get rolling here and build some mojo.
We will be racing just husets for the next couple weeks so be sure to get out there and come see us.
