• New years goals are to Win the Kid Kart Nationals and a track championship in 2013
• Entered 22 Race Events in 2012 won 6, 2nd place 6 times, 3rd place 5 times, 1 4th place, 1 5th place and only 1 race with a DNF Overall entered 22 events and finished in the top 3 in 17 of them and the top 5 in 21 of them, also qualified 2nd in the country in 2012 at the Kid Kart Nationals, but experienced a mechanical failure in the final while racing for the lead.
• She enjoys Tumbling, soccer, racing and playing with friends -Official Team driver with CRP Racing -Drives a Top Kart Chassis -Schedule for 2013 includes 29 races, She'll be racing at Pittsburgh International Race Complex on a regular basis, Running for a Championship with the Great Lakes Sprint Series which races in Indiana, Ohio and Pennsylvania, and making another run for the national Title in St Louis in 2 divisions in 2013.

At only 7-years-old, Riley Erickson has taken Kid Kart Racing by storm. The local
superstar finished in the top three of 17 races across the country in 2012, including a
second place QUALIFYING EFFORT at the Kid Kart Nationals and numerous wins. Now as she prepares for the 2013 season,
she has her eye on that national championship.

While Kid Kart Racing might not be a well-known sport to most, this is not the case in
the Erickson home. The 7-year-old grew up hearing stories from her father and
grandfather about racing. Both raced at dirt and asphalt tracks all over the mid west including local tracks Like Barberton Raceway Park, Midvale Speedway and Lorain County.

Despite being a male dominated sport, Erickson was determined to give it a try. After
several victories at Barberton Speedway, it was clear that she was ready for the big
leagues. Now, a regular podium finisher at the Pittsburgh International Race Complex,
the first grader has certainly made a name for herself in the sport.

Erickson has big plans for the 2013 season. “It’s amazing to see how far she has come.
Just last year I took her to Barberton Speedway to introduce her to Kart
Racing. Now she's proved to be one of the best in the country ” Said Erickson’s father, Brian Erickson.
