NASCAR Whelen All American Series Missouri State, 2014 Rookie Of The Year
Kyle Donahue races out of Donahue Motorsports, truly a family operation. His father, Jim, mother Sarah, brother Kevin and sister Angie are all passionate about and completely involved in the sport.
Rick Court, President of Vanguard, a 3PL in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada states: “We’ve known Jim for many years. His passion for business and motor sports is unique so when the opportunity to sponsor Kyle and get involved with Donahue Motorsports we jumped at the chance.”

Kyle Donahue
Kyle started racing when he was 5 years old. It started with karts and it quickly advanced to Bandolero cars, Legends cars and now at 15 years old, a Pro Late Model. In 2009 and 2010, he won the Tag 60 Series Championship. In 2011 and 2012 he won the Bandolero Series Championship. Kyle’s first year in a Legend car 2013 resulted in a series Championship for Young Lions. In 2014 he earned the title of NASCAR Whelen Missouri Rookie of the year.
Currently, Kyle is racing a Pro Late Model Ford at I-44 Speedway in Lebanon, Missouri and is sponsored by Vanguard, vanguarddelivers.com
His team is backed by Gene and Alex Roberts of Arob Perfomance, Gene is the former Crew Chief of NASCAR champion and hall of fame inductee, Bill Elliot. Kyle’s car is setup by Gene’s son, Alex Roberts of AROB Performance in Atlanta GA, who is well known for his innovation in the stock car racing of today. He will continue to race the 2015 season in Missouri with the goal of getting a sponsor to allow for a touring series in 2016. Kyle is a freshman in High School at Lafayette. He looks forward to competing in the ARCA or K&N series in the future and then on to a NASCAR Cup Car.
Kyle focuses on is his racing but also enjoys playing Basketball and Lacrosse. With his ultimate goal of racing in NASCAR, Kyle will continue to refine his skills in all areas, including racing. He has a unique and rare skill of knowing and feeling the race line and how to make what he is driving fast. He knows that it takes more than a fast car to win races.
