Driver Information

I'm a 3rd Generation Driver. I grew up watching my father race sprint cars for as long as I can remember at Stuart Raceway, Eagle Raceway and many other tracks. I started my racing career when I was 18, with a 360 Stewart Sprint Car at Stuart Raceway. I raced 3 full years before having to hang it up, to attend Chiropractic College. In that time, I captured 6 feature wins and several heart breaks due to some mechanical failures (that's racing). I graduated Chiropractic College from Logan University in December of 2013. I have since moved back to O'Neill, NE and started my own practice. In 2016, Nekolite Racing was back in action. Last year in 2019 I finally landed my first track championship at Wagner Speedway, after tying the year before and losing by tiebreaker at Stuart Raceway. 2019 was a year to remember as it felt like the race team really made strides with finishing top 5 most nights, we made it on the track. 2020 racing is a year we will try to forget, but 2021 will be another that will never be forgotten. We added another driver Jeff Reiman and Dennis and Monica Engelhaput Racing also joined the ranks. We are now known as DNJ Motorsports. Dennis raced his but off for rookie points and just fell short, definitely wasn't a lack of talent or hard work, guts and grit. It was one of those stories where you see someone work so hard and just falls short due to blown motors or other mechanical failures. Jeff Reiman started 2021 with a rough start at Devils Bowl Speedway with head banger of a wreck coming out of turn 1 in his qualifying race going end over end live on IMCA TV, it took Jeff a while to bounce back but finished the year strong winning one of the qualifying features at the RaceSaver nationals. The Doc had a successful year as far as bringing home some hardware with Two Track Championships, one being at Stuart Raceway which allowed him to enter the ranks of his grandfather and Father, making him the 3rd generation to win a track championship at that racetrack. Second championship came at Wagner Speedway making that his 2nd championship at Wagner. Finishing the year with clenching the Nebraska State points Championship was a definite cherry to finish the year after all the struggles that DNJ Motorsports had to endure in 2021.

Had some wins along the way, but the best is yet to come! Tied for Track Championship in 2018 Stuart Raceway.

The most memorable was our 1st Track Championship at Wagner Speedway on Championship Night in 2019. After parking in victory lane and knowing we sealed the points, nothing can beat the joy and excitement on my parents and pit crew's faces. An absolute moment that will never be forgotten!

Racing of course! but Hunting, ice fishing, snowboarding and working on the car in the off season.
