Rockett Bennett
Argenta, IL
Driver Information
Born with a need for speed and a name for racing, Rockett started his racing career with Go-Karts at Cerro Gordo Speedway, Cerro Gordo, IL, his family run track. He would race for a couple years in a Go-Kart before making the transition over to Quarter Midgets.
While racing a few years in Quarter Midgets, Rockett traveled to several states running for National points in the Dirt Series for USAC. He ended his final year on a high with a feature win at Eldora Speedway, Rossburg Ohio, in a USAC National race! He was able to bring home the belt. It was a very exciting weekend for him and his family and one that made many great memories.
Rockett has since retired from Quarter Midgets and moved ahead to running a Mini-Sprint from Boss Chassis. He is looking forward to more open wheel racing and traveling to other tracks to gain more experience. His family is still running Cerro Gordo Speedway and most recently they have started managing Coles County Speedway in Mattoon, IL. As Rockett progresses towards new styles of racing, the family is following suit to manage other tracks as well. Here is to another great year of racing with family and friends!
Hope to see you supporting those local tracks!
