Diercks claims first win of the season at Davenport Speedway
Spencer Diercks invaded Davenport Speedway (Davenport, Iowa) on Friday night returning behind the wheel of his Lindquist Ford No. 29 Modified. In a field of 30 cars, Diercks improved four spots in his heat race to register a third place finish. Starting the main event in seventh, Spencer advanced his way to the front, tallying his first win of the season over Bryce Garnhart, Chris Zogg, Ryan Duhme, and Matt Werner.
The following night in his Late Model at Maquoketa Speedway (Maquoketa, Iowa) for the Lucas Oil Midwest LateModel Association (MLRA) sanctioned program, Spencer fell short of a transfer position in his heat with an eighth place finish, transferring him into the B-Main. Failing to place third or better, Diercks was granted a provisional into the $5,000-to-win A-Main. Charging forward eight spots in the 40-lapper, Spencer Diercks recorded a 16th place outing.
On Sunday afternoon Diercks stopped at West Liberty Raceway (West Liberty, Iowa) for the $5,000-to-win finale. Following the eighth fastest time in his group, Spencer posted a fourth place finish in his heat, which positioned him 15th on the starting grid for the main event. Breaking into the Top-10, Diercks gained six spots in the 30-lapper to place ninth.
