Bad Luck Continues While Leading at Davenport Speedway

Spencer Diercks returned behind the wheel of his Modified on Friday evening at Davenport Speedway (Davenport, Iowa) for the regular night of racing. In a stout field of 57 cars, Diercks started the night off with a heat race victory, sending him into the redraw. Receiving the pole position for the feature, Spencer took command of the lead early but motor issues forced him to retire early.
