Diercks back in Victory Lane at Davenport Speedway

Friday night saw Spencer Diercks return to Davenport Speedway (Davenport, Iowa) to compete in a field of 15 IMCA Modifieds. Following a second-place finish in his heat race behind Mitch Morris, Diercks outdueled Morris in the feature to register his second win of the season. He topped Morris, Kurt Kile, Travis Denning, and Joe Beal at the line to claim $1,000.

On Saturday evening at Independence Motor Speedway (Independence, Iowa) with 26 Modifieds entered, Spencer posted a runner-up finish in his heat, which positioned him ninth on the starting grid for the A-Main. Wheeling his way into a podium spot, Diercks passed seven cars to place second, trailing Chris Simpson across the line with Troy Cordes, Kelly Shryock, and Brennen Chipp completing the Top-5 finishers.
