Diercks opens 2021 season with triumph at Davenport Speedway

Bringing his 2021 season to life, Spencer Diercks invaded Davenport Speedway (Davenport, Iowa) on Saturday night to pilot his Roehlk Contractors No. 29 Modified for the Spring Challenge. Drawing 15 Modifieds, Diercks secured his spot into the main event with a heat race win. Outdueling fellow front-row starter Timmy Current in the caution-plagued feature, Spencer powered ahead of Current on the high-side on lap 15 to capture his first win of the season. On Sunday afternoon at Benton County Speedway (Vinton, Iowa) for the Frost Buster, Spencer edged his way into the main event with a fourth-place finish in his heat. Rolling off 16th, Diercks advanced through the field 10 spots in the 25-lapper to register a sixth-place finish.
