In a field of 29 Late Models for the fifth round of the 12-race tour, Diercks followed up a seventh-place finish in his heat with a fourth-place finish in his B-Main. Starting the $22,022-to-win A-Main in 22nd, Spencer got collected in a tangle on that second circuit that resulted in an early exit.
Returning to action in his Late Model on Friday, Spencer traveled to 300 Raceway (Farley, Iowa) for the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) sanctioned Truck Country 50. With 23 cars entered, Diercks’ seventh-place finish in his heat race pinned him on the 10th row for the feature. With $12,000 on the line, Spencer retired on lap seventh.
On Saturday, Diercks entered the Timmy Current-owned No. 12x Modified into battle at Maquoketa Speedway (Maquoketa, Iowa). After starting the night off with a heat race win, Spencer dropped one spot in the 20-lap feature to finish second. He trailed Travis Denning to the checkers with Ryan Duhme rounding out the podium.
On Sunday afternoon at Dubuque Fairground Speedway (Dubuque, Iowa), Diercks passed five cars in his heat to pick up the win. Racing forward four spots in the feature, Spencer recorded a sixth-place outing.
