Top-10 finish with Hoker Trucking Series at CJ

With 39 Late Models on hand, Diercks took part in his heat race but was a scratch from his consolation event.

The following night at C.J. Speedway (Columbus Junction, Iowa) with the Hoker Trucking Series, Spencer followed up the fifth-fastest time in his group with a fourth-place finish in his heat. With $3,000 on the line in the feature, Diercks gained one spot in the 25-lapper to finish 10th.

Rejoining the Hell Tour on Sunday afternoon at Sycamore Speedway (Maple Park, Ill.), Diercks’ fifth-to-second run in his heat race placed him on the third row for the $5,000-to-win A-Main. He was credited with a 22nd-place outing after retiring on lap 21.
