Diercks visits Dubuque and Kankakee with MARS Racing Series

With a heat race victory placing him on the pole for the feature, Diercks crossed the line in third in the 40-lapper but was declared light at the scales, dropping him to 22nd on the final rundown.
With Friday’s Wabam Dirt Kings Tour event at Mississippi Thunder Speedway (Fountain City, Wis.) falling to Mother Nature, Spencer returned with the MARS Racing Series at Kankakee County Speedway (Kankakee, Ill.) for the Big Daddy Scrap 40. Following the second-fastest lap in time trials, Diercks dashed to a heat race win. Starting the feature in second, Spencer was an early retiree from the 40-lapper on lap 16.
