Diercks fourth in Yankee Dirt Classic in Modified
Friday night found Spencer Diercks in action at 300 Raceway (Farley, Iowa) aboard the TCE No. 21 entry of the Modified portion of the 46th annual Yankee Dirt Track Classic.
With the top four from each heat sent the redraw, Diercks raced into the redraw with a ninth-to-third run in his heat race. Starting the $2,000-to-win A-Main in eighth, Spencer passed four cars in the 25-lapper to register a fourth-place finish. He chased Jeff Larson, Jeff Aikey, and Troy Cordes across the line with Mike Learman coming in fifth.
