Early exit in Iowa Dirt Nationals at Maquoketa Speedway
Making his final start of the 2023 season aboard the Timmy Current Enterprises No. 21 Modified, Spencer Diercks headed to Maquoketa Speedway (Maquoketa, Iowa) on Friday evening for the Iowa Dirt Nationals.
Amongst a stout field of 50 IMCA Modifies, Diercks soared into the $1,200-to-win opener with a sixth-to-third charge in his heat race. Rolling off 15th, Spencer got caught behind a spinning competitor on the fifth circuit that brought an immediate end to his weekend.
