Godsey finishes 17th, Roth 20th in Buckeye Spring 50 at Atomic

Both Jeff Roth and Joe Godsey were in action on Saturday evening at Brownstown Speedway (Brownstown, Ind.) for the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) sanctioned Indiana Icebreaker. In a field of 44 cars, Joe came one spot short of a transfer position in his heat with a fifth place finish while Jeff placed sixth. After three violent wrecks in four heat races, LOLMDS officials made the decision to postpone the remainder of the evening to May 2nd.

On Sunday afternoon at Atomic Speedway (Chillicothe, Ohio) for the Buckeye Spring 50, both drivers secured their spot into the $12,000-to-win A-Main with a sixth place finish in their heat races. Godsey clawed forward one spot in the 50-lapper to finish 20th while Roth passed seven cars to register a 17th place outing.
