Adam Armstrong
Looking to 2017
2016 was another great racing season for the team, did some things we've done before and some things we have not, succeeded with some and some, not so much but that's why its called racing. Ended my season and put the JetStrong hobby and the Jet Sport Mod up for sale and sold them both a lot faster than I thought. Both cars went to really good homes and look forward to how Ryan and Taylor do with both of them, wish them both success. Took the money as well as with some help from Mom and Denny & Ron and bought the car Dylan Smith had from Jet. Excited to have the car and have been able to race it a few times since and really happy with it so far. So much learning needs to be done but we will get there, looking forward to the new venture. Again, very blessed to have my open motor sponsors all back again, we all know its not the preferred way to go but its the Armstrong way so we will have to try and keep up or whatever it is we do out there. Harris decals in Lincoln put together a real neat throwback theme for me for the duel in Vegas on a very short time frame and really appreciate their effort for me and they are hard at work on my wrap for 2017 now, look forward to seeing what they do for me, gave them just a few options, its up to them so it will be a surprise for me as well but I venture to say green will be the theme. Sponsors will be the same for the most part but if anyone wants to join in the fun or know someone who wants to come aboard, please send them my way, anything is appreciated. Mike Tanner and Yancy Shepard hauled my car to Vegas this year and I cant thank them enough for that, lots going on in my family at the time and it was a huge help. Jesse Sobbing, you are a class act, all the help and advice you gave me at Vegas and not to mention the friendly help to my stepdad are one of the things I love about this sport the most. Nothing better than speed secrets from one of the best. Luke and Jamie, the same goes to you guys, made the Vegas track fun because of you 2. There's ups and there's downs and we just keep trying to go in the right direction, for every mistake, there is a lesson, some I don't care to relearn but lets be honest, I will. Thank you to everyone that helped me in 2016, its because of all of you that we did what we did. Cant lie, Harris Clash was and is still unbelievable as well as my 100th feature win to start the year out in Abilene Texas. Jet Racing has some fast race cars, we proved that this year and appreciate all his help. My Race Pass is gonna design us a new t shirt here shortly also so keep an eye out for that. We didn't bring home a championship trophy this year and honestly was not out to chase anything but along the way, we accomplished great deal, the JetStrong hobby is very near and dear to me, I believe in it and that car proved itself right out of the box but I honestly was ready to move up, which is what we did. The Sportmod was frustrating but once we got it figured out, it worked, I got to race the best in the country this year in the hobby stock, in the sport mod class, and then finished it up in the A mod class with the best in the country, few can say that, we can! Thank you everyone for the help and support and 2017 is right around the corner, Double A
