Got the Jet Mod back from Circle D and appreciate the quick turn around and the great deal so now we are rid of the red and have her in black and ready to reassemble. Stripped her down and and will put a new body on and then she will be ready for the magic at Harris Decals. I look forward to seeing what they are gonna do for me, I gave them very small info so I will be excited to see it as well. My Race Pass put together a new tshirt design, I think they outdid themselves with this again and I thank them all.
Had an offer to throw in with Mike & Yancy again and go to Arizona, I truly was gonna try and do this as I cant think of a better place to get some more experience in the A mod but after looking and figuring on all of it, just not gonna be able to make it happen financially. I will be heading to Abilene Texas in February for the Ice Breaker as we have for the last number of years. Be really strange to head to Abilene and not be taking a hobby but looking forward to getting to race the A mod there for the first time.
The sponsorship appreciation party is still gonna happen, we will get the date set and let everyone know the time and place. Harris Decals designed something for me and really happy with the way it turned out and think everyone will be pleased. I truly wouldnt be able to race without all of you. Tom at Icon and Craig and Josh at Scat, hell they sent me parts last year already for this year, you cant beat that and it helps you get a head start. One call to Eric at EQ and he got us hooked up. Ron Fox steps up as well and Ron has gotten pretty good at text and facebook messaging!! Howards Cams, Competition Products, they take real good care of Dad, its such a great thing to have access to. Julie Southwick, Bob & Sandy, Sluggo & Connie, my Aunt Bonnie, Optima Batteries, Jomar, (Best filter ever), Champions Brand Oil, Russ & Brian at Schmidt Machine, of course my Dad, Mom and Denny, Clint & Jo at Hummer Contracting, Johnny Saathoff at Jet Racing, DEA, Jim Kerns, Slezak Racing, Denny at CPD Shocks, Shawn Stanton, travis & Sam, my crew and of course My Race Pass, everyone played such a big part in 2016 and we will celebrate like we always have.
2017 will be full of challenges for me again, appreciate all those that will be along for the ride again but understand those that wont. My goals are fairly small so there is no where to go but up. Appreciate all my open motor sponsors for signing on again, we do what we can do. Last is Layne. I love you Bud. Having you at some of my races this year was the best I could ask for. So appreciate your mom bringing you when she could as well. Nothing beats seeing you run across the track to me in Victory Lane or just after a race. You are the spirit in this team now, it cant function without you and I will do everything I can to have you along for this ride. We will succeed or fail together, always, so bring on 2017 and we are gonna go racing. AA
