Taylor is runner-up in Big Sky Country

Jeff Taylor made the long trip from Batesville, Arkansas, to Billings, Montana, over the weekend to compete in the IMCA Modified division at Big Sky Speedway.

After Friday night was rained out, Taylor took to the 3/8-mile track on Saturday behind the wheel of the Neitzel Motorsports No. 83XM entry. He claimed the seventh-place finishing position in his heat race and rolled from seventh on the grid in the 20-lap feature.

Taylor moved into second on the sixth lap of the A-Main and turned in a runner-up result, 1.736 seconds behind winner Rod Lorenz. Shawn Zelenka, Dale Neitzel and Travis Davis followed Taylor under the checkered flag.
