Early exit in National 100 with Hunt the Front Super Dirt Series at East Alabama

Returning to his Super Late Model ride, Ashton Winger visited East Alabama Motor Speedway (Phenix City, Ala.) for the 49th-running of the National 100 with the Hunt the Front Super Dirt Series.

With time trials and heat races slated for Saturday, Winger laid down the second-fastest lap in his group before ending the night with a runner-up finish in his heat.

For the $49,000-to-win finale on Sunday, Ashton was running inside the Top-10 when he pulled in with mechanical issues.
