Dustin Nobbe salvages fourth-place finish without brakes at Lake Cumberland

On Saturday evening, Dustin and Ted Nobbe visited Lake Cumberland Speedway (Burnside, Ky.) for the Valvoline Iron-Man Northern Series-sanctioned Lake Cumberland Classic. After contact in his heat race with another competitor pinned him 13th on the starting grid for the $5,000-to-win A-Main, Dustin marched forward nine spots without brakes to register a fourth-place finish. He trailed Josh Rice, Michael Chilton, and Tristan Chamberlain to the checkers with Christian Hanger coming in fifth.
