Pair of third-place finishes at Bedford and Hagerstown

Matt Cosner returned to the driver’s seat of his Nelson Auto Sales No. 66c Late Model on Friday night at Bedford Speedway (Bedford, Pa.) for the Bob Elbin Tribute. Earning the 14th-starting position for the $5,000-to-win A-Main after a flat tire knocked him out of his heat race, Cosner advanced forward 11 spots to finish third. On Sunday after the team discovered a number of issues and pulled out the secondary car for the Frank Sagi Tribute at Hagerstown Speedway (Hagerstown, Md.), Matt followed up a second-place finish in his heat with a third-place finish in the 30-lap feature. He trailed Trever Feathers and Jason Covert to the checkers with Kyle Hardy and Rick Eckert rounding out the Top-5.
