Wall notches Top-10 finish in Fall Classic prelim at Whynot

With the 35-car field split into two groups for a pair of preliminary features, Wall timed in ninth-fastest in his group before placing fifth in his heat. With $2,500 on the line in his prelim, Chris clawed forward one spot in the 20-lapper to register an eighth-place finish.

On Saturday, Chris secured his spot into the $12,000-to-win Coors Light Fall Classic finale with a third-place finish in his heat. Starting in 12th, Wall dropped one position in the 60-lap affair to finish 13th.
