Born in Selkirk Manitoba raised in Beaconia Manitoba and then moved to Upsala in 1967 loved cars at a very young age and anything that had an engine , love mechanics watched and learned from my father Lorne Thomas , we had vehicles at a young age driving on the pipeline and the Graham road , dad had an old Studdie baker number #21 that was our phone number his buddy Roy Peters drove at Riverview , dad built it at Camp 5 Boreal Timber they towed it with a 1964 ford wagon with a tow bar from Upsala to Thunder Bay those were the days , loved doing tires as a young man also but mechanics was my forte . In 1989 I met the love of my life Vanessa and my whole life changed , worked in the bush as a field mechanic then into mining underground as a redseal heavy equipment mechanic and Hard Rock Mining Supervisor right up till my cancer in 2020 and still on the mend to date .......
