The End of Season Is Near
Jonathan Powers was the man on the mission last week at Elk City Motorsports Park, but Austin Bonner was not making it easy on him. Josh Cournoyer, Travis Johnson and Race Elliott Rounded up the the top 5. This has been a season to remember, so far we had 4 different races, two different tracks and never had a repeat winner. Our schedule has been staying smaller the last couple of years to focus more on big events and it's been growing every week with our set purse at $750 to win and $150 to start helps the best as we can with the cost of everything going up. Then with Belleville adding to their purse for the July 3rd show made us want to build it even bigger. Now we have Rod Fauver and Joe McConnell wanting to build up bigger purses as well to help grow Elk City, we've teamed up to build the biggest purse in the series history with $5800 to Win and $750 to start. This event is more than just a bigger money show but this is also a event to salute all of our racing heroes, with us loosing lots of friends family the past few years I wanted to put something on a very special event to show them how much how much we honor them. Then after loosing my dad this year I pushed my hardest to make it happen. So come on out and Salute your heroes.
