At a Glance: WoO Return to Oklahoma at Tri-State Speedway in Pocola

WHAT
•The World of Outlaws return to Oklahoma for the first time since 2005 with an inaugural event at Tri-State Speedway in Pocola on Saturday, April 10. Following a two week break in the schedule, the event at Tri-State Speedway in Pocola opens a stretch of 18 consecutive weekends that will see the World of Outlaws in action. Jason Meyers leads the series back to Oklahoma with a five point lead in the championship standings over 20-time series champion Steve Kinser, while Joey Saldana is third, just 20 markers back, with Donny Schatz fourth and Jason Sides fifth. The Top-Five in the standings are separated by 58 points.
WHEN
•On Saturday, April 10, the pit gates will open at 2 p.m. Central, with the grandstand gates opening at 4 p. m. Central and hot laps are set for 6 p.m. Central with time trials to follow. Racing is set for 7:30 p.m. Central.
WHERE
•Tri-State Speedway is located in Pocola, Oklahoma. Travel 1.6 miles west of the Arkansas state line on U.S. 271, then 0.3 miles north.
TICKETS
•On Saturday, April 10 at Tri-State Speedway, general admission tickets for adults will be $30 in advance and $35 the day of the race, with general admission tickets for children ages 6-12 $15, with kids five-under admitted free of charge. Reserved seats for adults will be $33 in advance and $35 the day of the race, with reserved tickets for children ages 12-under $15. •Meet & greet: Jason Meyers, the current World of Outlaws point leader who leads the series with three wins, along Craig Dollansky who was victorious earlier this season, will be on hand at Hooters in Fort Smith, Arkansas this Friday, April 9 to meet and greet fans between 3-5 p.m. Central along with their race cars and haulers for fans to get an up close look at an 850-plus horsepower winged sprint car. The Hooters in Fort Smith, Arkansas is located at 6401 Rogers Avenue. A shuttle will be available from the Best Western in Fort Smith which is the Official Hotel of the event, to Hooters for the Meet & Greet.
