Countdown to the Lowes Foods World of Outlaws World Finals Presented By Bimbo Bakeries and Tom’s Snacks: 13 Days

Concord, NC—October 22, 2010— The Fourth Annual Lowes Foods World of Outlaws World Finals Presented By Bimbo Bakeries and Tom’s Snacks at The Dirt Track at Charlotte in Concord, North Carolina is quickly approaching, November 4-6 for the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series, along with the World of Outlaws Late Model Series and the Super DIRTcar Series Big Block Modifieds. In the 15 days leading up to the three-day action packed season ender, World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series drivers will share their thoughts on what has become one of the “Must See” marquee events of the year.

Next up is Sam Hafertepe Jr., who has competed in each of the first three editions of the World Finals. The 24-year old from Sunnyvale, Texas has one career Top-10 finish at The Dirt Track at Charlotte and ran 11th there earlier this season after opening the night by setting fast time, which is one of six fast time awards he has earned this year, and that has him tied for second most in the series. Hafertepe has led 61 laps of feature racing competition this season as he continues to chase his first World of Outlaws win.

Sam Hafertepe Jr., Driver of the No. 15H Lone Star Speedway Maxim:

“It’s a great deal for the fans with the three-day show. It’s a big event with the different types of cars racing. All the best cars in the country are there so it’s fun to race in. It will definitely change the track conditions a bit for us this year with the Big Block Modifieds there as they have to have the track a little harder for those guys. The track will get a bit slicker this year. It’s enjoyable to have all those guys there and it’s really neat for the fans to have the top three divisions of cars.”

The finale of the World Finals will air live on SPEED on Saturday, November 6 beginning at 8 p.m. Eastern, with Bobby Gerould on the call with Hall of Famer Brad Doty offering expert analysis.

On Thursday, November 4, adult tickets will be $20 with tickets for children ages 12-under $10. Three-day ticket packages are available for adults for $69 and for children ages 12-under for $24. For tickets visit http://www.charlottemotorspeedway.com or call 1-800-455-FANS.
